Make plans now to attend the NRDs Annual Washington DC meeting, March 18-22, 2017.  Meeting registration must be received by NARD before Wednesday, March 1st (all cancellations are non-refundable).  A full agenda will be available at a later date.

Group Name: NEARD (Nebraska Association of Resources Districts Annual Meeting 2017

Use the group name to receive the special group rate of $294 for single/double occupancy.   Enjoy the complimentary, full cooked-to-order breakfast each morning in the Finn & Porter restaurant, and start your evenings with the nightly Manager’s Reception.  Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.  Upon checking out, you will be responsible for paying any incidentals associated with your room.  The room and tax will be billed to the NARD and we’ll bill your district upon returning to Nebraska.

  • Monday – Meetings, break services, lunch and tour of The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s annex at Washington Dulles International Airport, Fairfax County, Virginia,  https://airandspace.si.edu/udvar-hazy-center , or visit the National Firearms Museum just down the road. (tour includes lunch at the hotel, transportation, tour ticket, drinks, appetizers and dinner).  
  • Tuesday – Meetings, break services and lunch. 
  • Wednesday – Nebraska Breakfast at the Capital and meetings with Nebraska Delegation.

$400 - Meeting’s only Registration Includes:

  • Monday – Meetings, break services, lunch.
  • Tuesday – Meetings, break services and lunch.
  • Wednesday – Nebraska Breakfast at the Capital and meetings with Nebraska Delegation.   

$140 – Extra ticket to tour The Steven F. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE- Monday, March 20th   

8:30 a.m.                             Meetings at Embassy Suites Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center, 900 10th St. NW.

12:00 p.m.                          Lunch at the hotel.

1:00                                    Board bus to tour the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s annex at Washington
                                           Dulles International Airport, Fairfax County, VA https://airandspace.si.edu/udvar-hazy-center
                                           or visit the National Firearms Museum just down the road.

2:00                                    Arrive at tour destination. 

6:00                                    Dinner.

8:30                                   Arrive back at the Embassy Suites hotel.

Wednesday, March 22nd

7:30 am                Nebraska Breakfast, Dirksen Senate Office Bldg., First Street & Constitution Ave. NE.

Every Wednesday morning while both the Senate and House of Representatives are in session, Nebraskans visiting Washington, D.C. are invited to meet with the entire Nebraska Delegation. The Nebraska Breakfast is held at the Senate Buffet in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Guests are encouraged to arrive as early as 7:30 to choose their breakfast (a-la-carte).  The breakfast meeting will begin promptly at 8 a.m.

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.   Meetings with Nebraska Congressional Delegation
