Make plans now to attend the NRDs Annual Washington DC meeting, March 30 – April 3, 2019.  Meeting registration must be received by NARD before Friday, March 8th (cancellations are non-refundable).  A full agenda will be available at a later date.

Hotel Information

Embassy Suites Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center – 900 10th St. NW, Washington DC, 20001

If you haven’t already made your hotel reservations, please do immediately by calling 1-800-774-1500.  The block is filling quickly, call NARD if you have any issues.

Use the group name to receive the special group rate of $299 for single/double occupancy.   Enjoy the complimentary, full cooked-to-order breakfast each morning in the Finn & Porter restaurant and start your evenings with the nightly Manager’s Reception.  Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.  Upon checking out, you will be responsible for paying any incidentals associated with your room.  The room and tax will be billed to the NARD and we’ll bill your district upon returning to Nebraska.

$520 - Full Registration Includes:

  • Monday – Meetings, break services, and trip to the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Tour includes lunch at the hotel, charter bus transportation, tour ticket, drinks and dinner.  
  • Tuesday – Meetings, break services and lunch. 
  • Wednesday – Nebraska Breakfast, Dirksen Senate Office Building, followed by meetings with Nebraska Delegation.  Breakfast on your own at the Embassy Suites, or hot and cold breakfast items are available for purchase in the Southside Buffet located in the Dirksen building. The building will open at 7:30 a.m.

$410 - Meeting’s only Registration Includes:

  • Monday – Meetings, break services, lunch.
  • Tuesday – Meetings, break services and lunch.
  • Wednesday – Nebraska Breakfast and meetings with Nebraska Delegation.   

$150 – Extra ticket

  • Monday tour the National Museum of the Marine Corps.  Tour includes lunch at the hotel, charter bus transportation, tour ticket, drinks and dinner.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE- Monday, April 1st

8:30 a.m.      Meetings at Embassy Suites Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center, 900 10th St. NW.

11:15 a.m.      Lunch at the hotel.

12:00             Board bus to tour the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

1:15                Arrive at the museum.  

6:00               Dinner.

8:30               Arrive back at the Embassy Suites hotel.   

Tuesday, April 2nd  

8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.     Meetings at Embassy Suites Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center

Wednesday, April 3rd   

6:30 a.m.       Breakfast on your own at the Embassy Suites

7:30               Nebraska Breakfast, Dirksen Senate Office Bldg., First Street & Constitution Ave. NE.

Every Wednesday morning while both the Senate and House of Representatives are in session, Nebraskans visiting Washington, D.C. are invited to meet with the entire Nebraska Delegation. The Nebraska Breakfast is held at the Senate Buffet in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. If you choose, hot and cold breakfast items are available for purchase in the Southside Buffet located in the Dirksen building.  Guests are encouraged to arrive by 7:30 a.m. 

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.   Meetings with Nebraska Congressional Delegation
