Nebraska Association of Resources Districts (NARD) is the trade association for Nebraska’s 23 Natural Resources Districts (NRDs).  NARD will assist NRDs in a coordinated effort to accomplish collectively what may not be accomplished individually to conserve, sustain, and improve our natural resources and environment.

Public Relations/Communications Director:  A full-time salaried position with the NARD.  This position is directly responsible for carrying out public relations, information and educational programs to insure public awareness of the NARD and NRDs resource programs and projects.  The position will also be involved in development and maintenance of advanced technological mediums to inform and educate various audiences about natural resources management activities.  Bachelor’s degree required, with 3 – 5 years’ experience.  The Communications Director will possess a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of print, broadcast, web and social media outlets, as well as the specific requirements and strategies for disseminating NARDs message using each of those channels.  Knowledge of agriculture, natural resources issues, video production, website maintenance and graphic design preferred.  Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience.  Full health and retirement benefits provided.  Send cover letter, resume and salary requirements by March 29, 2019 to NARD Executive Director, 601 So. 12th St. Suite 201, Lincoln, NE  68508.
