The Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District (NRD) located in Norfolk, Nebraska, is seeking applications for a full-time Water Resources Technician. This position performs a variety of water-related tasks to support the groundwater management goals of the District. Primary tasks will include, but are not limited to, collection and handling of groundwater and surface water samples, laboratory processing of samples, inspection and maintenance of flow meters, chemigation inspections, data entry and analysis, regular interaction with landowners, farm operators, and periodic presentations to the Board of Directors.
