Central Platte NRD Board to Meet October 22, 2026

GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska – The Central Platte Natural Resources District (CPNRD) Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the CPNRD office, 215 Kaufman Avenue in Grand Island.

AGENDA/ACTION ITEMS

2025/2026 Auditor Report
Tristan Junker, CPA, of Core CPAs, will present the 2025–2026 audit report. The Board will consider approval of the audit.

Building Committee 
The Building Committee will meet to discuss the progress of CPNRD’s new office and education center.

Variance Appeals Committee
The Variance Appeals Committee will meet to review a request from Dawson County and make a recommendation to the Board.

Water Quality Committee
The Water Quality Committee will meet to discuss Nitrogen Management Program violations.

Manager’s Report  
Lyndon Vogt, General Manager, will report.

Natural Resources Conservation Service Report 
Joe Krolikowski, District Conservationist, will report.

Nebraska Association of Resources District (NARD)  
Deb VanMatre, NARD Secretary/Treasurer, will report.

Nebraska Natural Resources Commission  
Doug Reeves, Middle Platte Basin Representative, will report.

Financial Report
The October financial report will be considered.

Cost-Share  
Applications for the Nebraska Soil and Water Conservation Program and Central Platte NRD cost-share programs will be considered.
