NRDs Assist Groundwater Guardians With Conservation Education

The Groundwater Guardians is a national group that help educate our youth and adults on the importance of preserving our aquifers and water quality across Nebraska and the nation.

The Guardians in Grand Island created an Outdoor Learning Prairie at the State Fair to show the public you can create beautiful landscape with native Nebraskan plants, trees, and flowers.

The Natural Resources Districts help the guardians with educating our youth about these important values. Go to the Groundwater Festival link to learn more.
