SCOTTSBLUFF, Nebraska -- During the March 10, 2022, board meeting, the North Platte Natural Resources District board announced Scott Schaneman as general manager.

Schaneman has been serving as the interim general manager since January. He has worked in various roles at the NRD during his 14-year tenure and is a longtime farmer and rancher in the District.

Former North Platte NRD General Manager John Berge was appointed to be the USDA State Executive Director for the Farm Service Agency.
