Lewis & Clark NRD Welcomes Hochstein

08/24/2020

The Lewis and Clark Natural Resources (LCNRD) welcomed Kristi Hochstein as the new office technician June 8, 2020. She will work closely with Office Manager Marilyn Schumacher on all aspects of office duties.

Hochstein graduated from Hartington High School and has lived in the area all her life. She has four children, Joel, Ashley, Courtney and Shelby, and one grandson Archer. Joel lives in Ames, Iowa, and works at the University of Iowa State;  Ashley is the level-three program teacher at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School and lives in the Hartington area; Courtney teaches kindergarten at Homer Public School and lives in Emerson, Nebraska; and Shelby also lives in Emerson and works at the Community Action offices in Pender.

Before joining the LCNRD, Hochstein wored at Peitz GMC for more than 25 years. She is active in her church and helps at the local schools during volleyball and basketball games. She especially enjoys spending time with her family and her grandson.

LCNRD is glad to have the opportunity to have Kristi as a member of the staff. Her responsibilities are important to keeping the office running smoothly and advancing programs that impact natural resources.
