GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska – The Central Platte Natural Resources District (CPNRD) Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the CPNRD office, 215 Kaufman Avenue in Grand Island.

AGENDA/ACTION ITEMS
Board Search Committee 
The Board Search Committee will report on letters of interest received to fill the Subdistrict 3 vacancy. The Board will then consider an appointment to the seat. The appointed director will serve through December 2026 and must file for the February primary election if they wish to be considered for an additional four-year term.

Building Committee 
The Building Committee will review the progress of the NRD’s new office and education center construction. They will also review and give their recommendation to the Board on a proposal from i.e. Design of Lincoln for office furniture and a potential change order from JEO Consulting.

Manager’s Report  
Lyndon Vogt, General Manager, will report.

Natural Resources Conservation Service Report  
Joe Krolikowski, District Conservationist, and Jason Schulz, Resource Conservationist, Grand Island Field Office, will report.

Nebraska Association of Resources District  
Deb VanMatre, CPNRD Representative, will report.

Nebraska Natural Resources Commission  
Doug Reeves, Middle Platte Basin Representative, will report.

Financial Report
The September financial report will be considered.

Cost-Share  
Applications for the Nebraska Soil and Water Conservation Program and Central Platte NRD cost-share programs will be considered.
