Planting Workshop to Outline Seedling Program

LINCOLN (NE) October 10, 2014 – The Lower Platte South Natural Resources District will hold a free tree planting workshop Friday, October 17, starting at 11:00 am at the NRD office, 3125 Portia Street, in Lincoln. Instruction will be given on recommended methods for tree planting and the NRD’s Conservation Forestry Program for 2015 will be outlined.   Ordering of seedling trees available through the program will begin soon, with delivery in April.   Various program options will be discussed and questions will be addressed.    A map to the NRD office is available at lpsnrd.org .
