BEATRICE, Nebraska -- Lower Big Blue NRD is now offering cost share for landowners, who implement soil and water conservation practices.

Eligible practices include: installing terraces, tile outlets, grassed waterways, and flowmeters. Applications will be accepted through April 24, 2026.    

Landowners applying for cost-share assistance will make application at the NRCS offices in Beatrice, Fairbury, Wilber, and Pawnee City. The maximum cost-share payment this year is $8,000 for all applications.
