Overland Trail Recreation Area

Overland Trail Recreation Area

This recreation area, named for a nearby spur of the Oregon Trail that was used in the 1860s, offers camping, picnicking, and hiking in addition to a variety of winter activities (skiing, sledding, snowmobiling and more). It should be noted that while these activities are permitted, Overland Trail remains a primitive campground with no boat docks, picnic shelters, or restrooms.
